Who are you?

I am Lucy. Lucy MacLeod. I am an illustrator from Edinburgh but currently laying low deep in the Scottish Borders.

What you up to?

On a literal level I am of course filling in this questionnaire. In general terms, I am busy trying to organise a major rejigging of my website
www.lucymacleod.co.uk whilst battling through a pile of laundry and answering a barrage of questions and requests from two small-ish children. I'm considering
going for a wee lie down.

What do you do, both personal and professional?

I am a drawerer of things n stuff, teacher of fashion illustration, lover of ink and charcoal, a mother of two girls, girlfriend/cohort of fellow illustrator,
Dwayne Bell, an eater of bacon and 70% chocolate. I am constantly stressed, trying to do too much but somehow always have time to watch Judge Judy.

Who do you do it with?

Pinache, hopefully.

What’s the first and last records you bought/illegally downloaded?

Young Fathers- Dead, who hail from Edinburgh. Hurrays for them!

Where and what will you be doing this time next year?

I will hopefully not be rejigging my website again- it's a right polarva. Hopefully I'll be doing more of the same- juggling kids with freelance and teaching.
I'm happy with my lot. Lots of interesting projects would be wonderful.

This time in 10 years?

Hopefully I'll have bought a new hair-dryer, my current one overheats and cuts off every 60 seconds so you have to blow into it to make it come back to life
but I've put up with it for 6 months despite every day starting feeling light headed and close to tears.

This time in 40 years?

Having invented a hair-dryer that doesn't require any handling or maintenance, it'll be luxurious living all the way in my senior years. I might manage to
squeeze in some drawing and painting though...

Thanks and goodbye.

Bye!
